About

Bryan Voell's drawings are created using Procreate. Some of them incorporate various combinations of paper, crayon, watercolor, ink and digital embellishments.

The collages reassemble found images from books, magazines, calendars and other ephemera.

Whatever he's working on, his goal is to make it new.

Bryan Voell is inspired by such artists as Grace Hartigan, Jiri Kolar, Robert Pollard and Don Van Vliet, all artists whose work motivates him to keep the sense of playfulness that got him started in the first place.

He lives in Overland Park, Kansas, with his wife and daughter.

Prints of his work are available upon request.
